The Black Trustee Alliance for Art Museums is the foremost institution for current information and resources for black leadership in art museums. In smaller communities, a creative way to support IDEA initiatives is to partner with local institutions, as demonstrated by a partnership between two institutions in Utica, New York: The Muson-Williams-Proctor Art Institute (MWPAI) and the Integrated Community Initiatives. Anasa Sinegal, the Director of Diversity and Engagement, kindly spoke with me about her ongoing work to promote IDEA goals. Dr. Sinegal is based at the MWPAI and reports to the President and CEO, Anna D’Ambrosio. Sinegal spends half her time working for the Integrated Community Initiatives, headed by CEO and Executive Director, Stephen Bulger.

Art Museum Staff Demographic Survey Foundation
